The Pretendian issue is part of a global phenomenon of ethnic fraud and impacts precolonial peoples worldwide. I focus on the theft of trauma of American Indians within the U.S., but the practice of this con artistry crosses borders. So, I am interviewed in Canada and have also had to research U.S. tribal claims in Mexico.
